Pre-Admission Pilot Eligibility Checklist

Becoming a pilot requires meeting strict legal, educational, and medical criteria set by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Tick the checkboxes below to see if you are ready to begin your commercial pilot journey

Section A: Educational & Legal Eligibility

Age Requirement: I am at least 17 years old (to begin ground classes) or will be 18+ by the time I apply for my commercial license

Section B: Medical & Physical Fitness (DGCA Standards)

Basic Physical Health: I do not have a history of major underlying medical conditions such as epilepsy, severe cardiovascular issues, or clinical psychiatric disorders

Section C: Financial & Background Clearance

Background Check: I can successfully obtain a clean Police Verification Certificate (PCC) from my local police station, which is mandatory before joining flight training

Don't worry if you didn't qualify for all the above mentioned requirements!
